Jim Ellis Green represents several of the Jim Ellis Automotive Dealerships in Atlanta, Marietta and Buford Georgia.  

Jim Ellis Auto Dealerships have been Family-Owned and Operated Since 1971

Jim Ellis and his wife Billie took the biggest leap of faith in their lives and opened Jim Ellis Volkswagen in 1971 on Peachtree Industrial Blvd in Chamblee.

Mr. Jim Ellis is still the President and CEO of the Jim Ellis Automotive Group, while his son, Jimmy Ellis is the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.  Jimmy is the one who tends to be in the public eye.

Like Jimmy, when his children, Stacey Hodges (General Manager of Jim Ellis Wheego, Mazda Atlanta and Saab Atlanta) and Wesley Ellis (General Manager of Jim Ellis Hyundai) started working for the dealership group, they had to start in service and work their way through every aspect of the business. 

There are many more members of the Ellis clan who are involved with the company!  The responsibilities of these family members are clearly divided and many of the family members play an active role in the businesses. We now have three generations working every day in our family business. The fourth generation is coming up with six members ages one to six. They are young, but we are planning for them to have an opportunity to work with us too, when they complete their chosen education.

We are celebrating our 39th year in business in 2010 and plan to be family-owned and operated for the next foreseeable generations of Ellises.
